Welcome to Brackley

The vibrant market town of Brackley is situated in the very south of the county within easy reach of Banbury (10 miles), Oxford (20 miles), Northampton (20 miles) and Milton Keynes (20 miles).  Within 15 minutes drive, you can also find Silverstone Circuit, Towcester Racecourse and the beautiful Hazelborough Forest.

Brackley is a lively town with many events to interest and delight visitors and residents, throughout the year.

Markets
Situated in the Piazza in front of the Town Hall, the weekly market is held every Friday with a Farmers Market held on the third Saturday of every month at the same location.  Support your local market and buy local produce.

The French and Continental market visits Brackley twice a year in the Spring and again in early Autumn.  A good selection of continental foods, gifts and produce.

Once a year we also host an Italian market on a Sunday.

Every Friday from 8.30am to 11.00am there is a Country Market held in the WI & Guide Hall in Manor Road with a great selection of home-made cakes, baked goods, preserves, plants, vegetables and fruit.  The market also includes handmade babywear, cards and gifts. 

Christmas Parade
On the Sunday before Christmas, the town turns out for a lantern parade to the Market Place where the Carol Singing takes place to the accompaniment of the Brackley Brass Band. Lyrics are projected onto a giant screen and we are extremely fortunate that Father Christmas is able to stop off and wave from the roof of the Town Hall despite being very busy.
